William "Bill" Scott Harvey, of Shawnee, Ohio, passed away on December 17, 2024 at the Pickering House, Lancaster.
He was born January 11, 1961 in Columbus the oldest son of John Moran “Jack” and Vivian F. VanMeter Harvey
Bill spent his career working at Kaiser Aluminum before retiring to enjoy a life filled with his passions and hobbies. A proud resident of Shawnee, he found joy in the simple pleasures of nature, often feeding deer, raccoons, and squirrels. He was also an avid hunter and a devoted Harley Davidson motorcycle owner, embracing the freedom and adventure that came with the open road with many Harley friends. Furthermore, Bill was a first responder and proud member of the Shawnee FD for many years. In his younger days, Bill was an outstanding basketball player and a member of the 1979 Miller HS sectional winning team.
He is lovingly remembered by his son, Jessie Harvey; his daughter, Tara Nicole; his siblings Keely Thompson (Mike), Carmel Woodward (Russell), Kevin Harvey, John Harvey (Kim), and Vincent Harvey. His many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins held a special place in his heart, and he adored them deeply.
Besides his parents Bill was preceded in death by his aunts and uncles.
In accordance with Bill's wishes, a private service will be held.
