William James “Bill” Fletcher 83 of New Straitsville passed away Thursday January 16, 2020 at the Logan Care and Rehab.
He was born July 18, 1936 in New Straitsville a son of the late William and Clara A. Ross Fletcher.
He was a retired employee of Carborundum of Logan and was a former employee of the New Straitsville Brick Plant and was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Gore.
He is survived by his sisters Georgia Nixon and Anna Marie Hanning and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother John Fletcher, brother in laws Don Nixon and Francis Hanning; niece Martha Colvin and great niece Clarissa Nixon
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Monday January 20, 2020 at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home 118 W. Walnut Street, Shawnee with Pastor David Edgell officiating
Interment: New Straitsville Cemetery
