Victoria “Vicky' May Lucas Poling, 60, of Hemlock passed away on December 10, 2020 at Fairfield Medical Center.
She was born on September 16, 1960 in Zanesville, Ohio. She was a daughter of William Lucas Sr. and the late Irene Glass Lucas.
Vickie was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, and sewing. She had a strong faith and read the Bible daily.
She was diagnosed with Stage 3 Multiple Myeloma two months ago. She contracted COVID and was admitted to the hospital on December 1, 2020. Although she was alone her last days, she was surrounded by the Lord.
Besides her father, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Scott and Corene Poling; her “pride and joy” granddaughters Gabriella Rose and Ellianna Grace Poling; siblings William (Sheree) Lucas, Tom (Bev) Lucas, Janice (Jan) Blanc, Susie Neff, Mike Lucas, her twin Rick (Annette) Lucas, Bob Lucas, Timmy Lucas, Larry (Janet) Lucas, Lisa (Jeff) Hill, and Karen Lucas; ex-husband and friend Terry Poling; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Glass Lucas and her sister, Marsha Greene.
Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
Private family funeral services will be conducted at the JE HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME, 118 W. WALNUT STREET, SHAWNEE, OHIO 43782.
Interment will be at Springer Cemetery in Salt Lick Township, Ohio.
