Tina Marie Stalter Searles Knox 64 of Corning formerly of Oakfield passed away Sunday June 20, 2021, at the Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.
She was born May 25, 1957, in Zanesville a daughter of the late Carl V. “Chub” Stalter and Lorena Mae Glass Stalter.
She was a 1975 graduate of Miller High School; she was a homemaker and worked at ITT Higbie in New Lexington, but her favorite job was spoiling her grandkids; she had a big heart and was always there to help whoever needed it; her happy place could always be reached as long as she had her guitar in her hands.
She is survived by her daughters Amanda (Joe Courts) Searles and Camie (Sean) Smith; special grandkids, Jordan and Chase; sisters Brenda (Doug) Kirker, Nancy Cote and Crystal Abram; nephews James and Roger Doughty; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. “Bob” Knox; her sister Loretta Doughty; her stepmother Joann Stalter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday June 24, 2021, at the Oakfield Wesleyan Church with Rev Dan Hinkle officiating.
Interment: Oakfield Cemetery
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday June 23, 2021, at the J. E. Humphrey Funeral Home 118 W. Walnut Street Shawnee and from 12-2 pm on Thursday at the church.
Following services friends and family are invited to the Community Holiness Church Social Hall 120 Thorn Street, New Lexington to share in food and fellowship
