Thomas " Tom" A Gaitten

Thomas A ‘’ Tom’’ Gaitten 88, of Corning Passed away on Sunday September 28, 2025 at The FairHope Hospice Pickering House in Lancaster. Tom was born on October 28, 1936 in Corning the son of the late Maynard and Charlotte ( Schlingerman) Gaitten

He retired from Ohio Oil Gathering after 45 years of service, was a member of the Corning Masonic Lodge 584 F&AM and the Bethany Methodist Church.

Tom is survived by his wife of 68 years Beulah (Spencer) Gaitten, Daughter Tammy Whitacre, son Tom ( Lori) Gaitten, grandchildren, Josh( Danielle)Gaitten , Jenna ( Curt) Mauro, JoJo ( Tyler) Householder and Matt(Brittany) Whitacre, and 8 great- grandchildren, Monroe and Maren, Mason and Ellee, Annie and Parker, Loken and Imrie The Spencer families and several nieces and nephews

Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. on Thursday October 2, 2025 at the  Bethany Methodist Church in Corning.  Funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev Carolyn Hoskinson Officiating , Masonic Service will be conducted, Honoring Tom’s Wishes cremation will take place. In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to Bethany Methodist Church or the Perry County Cancer Alliance .
