Thomas Richard Ryan

Thomas Richard Ryan 82 of Shawnee passed away on Sunday October 6, 2024, at the Pickering House in Lancaster.

He was born September 5, 1942, in Cleveland a son of the late Joe and Marie Garbor Ryan Sr.

He was a retired general foreman for Nelson Tree Service; he was a life member of Polk Amvets and served a Chaplin for 6 years.

He is survived by his brother Charles A. Ryan, brother and sister-in- law Fred and Jennifer McKnight; stepchildren Barb Reeves, Bev (Bill) Kraeer and Scott (Ann) Reeves; grandchildren Jessica Kraeer Thomas, Christopher Reeves and Ashley Reeves; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jane McKnight Ryan and his brother Joe Ryan Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday October 9, 2024, at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Shawnee, with Pastor Richard Fitch officiating.

Interment: Shawnee Cemetery
