Thomas Clayton Craig 60 of New Straitsville passed away at his home on Friday June 24, 2022
He was born July 12, 1960, in Shelby, Ohio a son of the late Elwood and Lora Long Craig.
He was a member of the New Straitsville United Methodist Church, New Straitsville Masonic Lodge 484 F&AM, Venus Chapter76 O.E.S. He was a big Cincinnati Bengals and NASCAR fan; he loved to fish and was of his favorite Father’s Day, was going fishing with his son Tommy and his granddaughter Hailey.
He is survived by his girlfriend Susan Swelgin-Miller; his children Thomas (Eugenia) Craig and Shawn (Louis) Whitmore; his siblings Rosie (Jay) Snow, Martha (Dale) Urig, Bev (Davd) Jacobs, Judy (Ben) Dobbs, Woody (Kathy) Craig, James (Susan) Craig, Ray Craig, Nate (Marcia) Craig and Charlie Craig; his grandchildren Lewis Whitmore, Kylie Davis, Jordan Buckley, Savannah Coey, Natalee Yates, Hailey Hill and Mackenzie Whitmore; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson James Whitmore and his good friend Todd Allen Fried.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm on Tuesday June 28, 2021, at the New Straitsville United Methodist Church with Rev Charlene Mitchell officiating.
Interment New Straitsville Cemetery
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Monday at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, with Masonic services being conducted at 4pm and Eastern Star services being conducted at 8pm.
