Tammy L. Harris, 49 of New Lexington passed away at her home on Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was surrounded by love - the love of her LORD JESUS CHRIST and the love of her family.
Tammy was born on March 29, 1976, in Crooksville. She was a daughter of the late Edward and Donna Jean (Inman) McCabe. Tammy was a dedicated Godly wife and an amazing mother. She was faithful and free spirted, a beautiful child of the LORD, and an amazing Pastor's wife. Tammy loved going to church, cows, monkeys, listening to country music, playing her online games, shopping, and taking care of her family.
Tammy is survived by her husband Donald L. Harris Jr. and her son Jordan (Elexus McPherson) Harris; mother -in-law Katherine Taylor; sisters Melissa Watson and Keri Hammond; stepbrothers Don McCabe, Tim McCabe(deceased), and Steve McCabe; niece and nephews Katilen, Braiden, Stevie and Paul: The family would like to recognize the special care and love that she received from (her sissy) Nellie and Gary Haley, her (dear sister) Jennifer and Chad Nash, (her momma) Kathy Taylor, Donna Mills, and all of her amazing brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ at The Bear Run Baptist Church of New Lexington.
Don and Jordan will honor Tammy's wishes for a cremation without any services. A celebration of life may be planned at a later date. Special thanks to Central Ohio Hospice and to all of our friends and loved ones who flooded Tammy with cards, prayers, food, comfort, and hope.
