Stephen Edwin "Dipe" McClain

Stephen Edwin “Dipe” McClain 61 of New Straitsville passed away at his home on Sunday April 10, 2022.

He was born November 11, 1960, in Nelsonville a son of Ann Eileen Garlinger McClain and the Late William McClain.

He was a former employee of Cooper Standard of New Lexington and Leckrone Sanitation of Shawnee. He loved His Dog Daisey, who was always by his side, and he was a diehard Pink Floyd fan and enjoyed hunting.

Besides his mother he is survived by his children Sarah McClain, Jessica McClain, Katie McClain, Stephen “Bub” McClain, and Larry “Peanut” McClain; sister Connie Moore and brother Bill “Buzz” McClain; his companion Daisey; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation will take place and a private family burial will be conducted at a later date.
