Shirley Irene Tallon

  Shirley Irene (McMasters) Tallon, Age 76, of Gahanna, OH passed away at her home after a long illness.  

Shirley was ready to catch the flight to Heaven; and is following the lighthouse beacon home. She remained positive and held on to her sense of humor till the end.  She would often say that laughter was living and without it we are merely existing. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, love of the Cleveland Browns, Georgia Peaches, and for being one of the nicest people you would ever meet.

Shirley was born and raised in Cleveland, OH. During her life, she resided in Helena, GA, Medina/Seville areas of OH, Tallulah Falls GA, and Gahanna, OH. She developed her love of planes while working for TAG Airlines in Cleveland, OH. She was a long-time employee of Plumber Insurance Agency in Seville, OH and was a member of the Association of Professional Insurance Women (APIW).  

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, George and Edna (Mulhollen) McMasters of Cleveland OH and her brother, Frank E. McMasters of Mentor, OH.  She is survived by her son, Frank Schumacher II (Two) of San Luis, CO. She is also survived by three sisters: Dolores Smith (Jesse) of Blacklick, OH; Hazel Outlaw of Helena, GA.; and sister-in-law Barb McMasters of Willoughby, OH. Shirley will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

 A Celebration of Shirley’s life will be held, on her birthday, May 28, 2022. Service will start at 2:30 pm at the Henn Mansion; 23131 Lakeshore Blvd, Euclid, OH 44123.   Memorial donations in memory of Shirley can be made to the ASPCA at: https://www.aspca.org/"
