Sandra K Seals

Sandra Kay Seals 76 of Logan, passed away at her home on January 1, 2023.

Sandra was born on July 28, 1946, in Shawnee, the daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Sorrell Seals.

Sandra retired in 2009 after teaching first and second grade for forty years in New Straitsville, New Lexington and Cambridge, Ohio.

Survived by her nieces Marsha (Jim) Lanning, of Glouster, Ohio, Carole (John) Chappelear of Logan, Ohio; nephew David Seals of Logan, Ohio; great nephews Larry (Lynette) Lanning of Charlottesville Virginia, Cameron Chappelear of Okechobee, Florida and Matthew Chappelear of Portsmouth, Ohio; great-great nephews Kaij Chappelear of New Straitsville, Ohio,  Cade Lanning and Evan Lanning of Charlottesville, Virginia ; great-great nieces Madison Chappelear of Logan, Ohio, Kaylee Lanning of Charlottesville Virginia, Abigail Chappelear of Okechobee, Florida and Irie Chappelear of Portsmouth, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Lester and Naomi Seals, her nephew Mark Seals and her niece Connie Seals.

Private family services will be held with John Chappelear officiating.

Interment: Shawnee Cemetery
