Naomi Ruth Haley, 73, of Crooksville passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Highland Oaks of McConnelsville, Ohio.
Ruth was born on February 3, 1953 in Shelby, Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Susie (Blazer) Campbell.
Ruth was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She found a home at the Bear Run Baptist Church, where she served for 20 years as the treasurer. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Carnation Chapter 167. Caring and sweet Ruth loved to sing and to put others before her needs. She had a great sense of humor, which caught her son Clinton off guard sometimes.
Ruth is survived by her son and daughter in law Clinton and Marissa Haley; grandson Grayson Haley; siblings Ronnie Campbell, Charles Campbell, Carolyn (Larry) Hobbs, Fredrick Campbell, Nellie (Garry) Haley, Jimmy Campbell, Nettie Schrader, and Libby (Donald) Trussell; sister-in-law Sherrie (Skip) Johnson; Larry Haley; her church family; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Besides her parents Ruth was preceded in death by five infant children and siblings Charlene Jones and Roy Clark.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at The Bear Run Baptist Church, 10249 State Route 37 E, New Lexington, Ohio with Donald L. Harris Jr. officiating.
Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Bear Run Baptist Church. Following the services family and friends are invited back to the Bear Run Baptist Church to share in Food and Fellowship.
Memorials may be made in Ruth’s name to the Bear Run Baptist Church.
