Rose Marie (Kincaid) Dodson

Rose Marie (Kincaid) Dodson, 66, of Corning, formerly of Hemlock, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 after a long battle with illnesses. Rose was born June 14, 1954 in Logan, the daughter of the late Jim and Maxine Kincaid. Rose married James (Jim) Dodson on September 24, 1977. Jim passed away on May 1, 2013.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, sister Teresa Kincaid, brothers-in-law Everette Dodson, Charles Dodson, and Andy Dodson, sisters-in law Ruth Dodson, Ruth Kelly, and Sue Dodson. Mother-in-law Levina Walton.

Rose is survived by her son John (Renea) Dodson and granddaughter Aubree Hiles. Sisters Wilma (Denny) Gillott of Waverly, Lesa (Chuck) Garey of Portersville. Brothers Stanley (Jackie) Kincaid of Shawnee and Jim Kincaid also of Shawnee. Brother-in law Leroy Dodson, Sisters-in-law Linda (Delbert) Morris, Lois (Jerry) Wheeler, Thelma (Jerry) Rehart, Doris (Rodney) Wesney, Rose Marie Hale, Rita Dodson, and Ruth Ann Dodson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.

Rose was a fighter, battling many illnesses throughout her lifetime. She was a dedicated mother, wife, sister, and daughter.  She dedicated over 20 years of her life to working with Developmentally Disabled individuals at Residential, Inc. Rose enjoyed riding on their Harley Davidson with her late husband, Jim. Rose, loved spending time with her siblings, especially, her Ya-Yas.

The family asks, in lieu of sending flowers, that people send a donation to their favorite charity in honor of Rose and show kindness to others with Rose in mind.
