Ronald Arthur Bartley Sr.

Ronald A. Bartley Sr., 69, of Logan passed away on May 31, 2026 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio.

Ronald was born on August 16, 1956 in Nelsonville, Ohio, a son of the late Robert W. and Janice M. Thress Bartley.

Ron was master brick mason, whose skills were requested throughout the area.  He was a United States Marine Corp veteran , an incredible photographer, a funny, likeable character, who accomplished anything he put his mind to.

Ron is survived by his daughter Heather Bartley Merrett; his best friend and baby boy Marshall his dog; sisters Sue (David) Binkley, Linda (Doug) Jones, and Michelle (Rob) Eppley; grandchildren Kyleigh Lynn Bartley and Alexander Edwin Bartley; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents Ron was preceded in death by his son Ronald A. Bartley Jr.; brothers Dale Bartley, Billy Bartley, and Robert Bartley Jr.; and sisters Diane Bartley and Teresa Bartley.

The family will honor Ron’s wishes for cremation.
