Robert James “Bob” Truax 78 of Rose Farm passed away at his home on Thursday December 15, 2023.
He was born May 27, 1945, in Zanesville, a son of the late Phillip H. and Agnes McArdle Truax Sr.
Bob was a graduate of Deavertown York High School; he waslongtime upholsterer, he was a member of the Rose Farm Church of Christ, associate member of the Woman’s Republican Club, he enjoyed traveling with his wife Carol and the youth from the church and camping. Bob was always the one that would step up to help someone in need, he was a true believer and studied the Bible for wisdom and guidance.
He is survived by his wife Carol L. Whitehouse Truax; his child Monette (Mary) Truax; grandchildren Xavier and Silas Truax; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Phillip Truax Jr., Sara Willoughby, Dorothy Truax, Martha Williams, and Vivian Johnson.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday December 17, 2023, at the Rose Farm Church of Christ with Pastor Larry Taylor officiating.
