Robert Lee "Bob" Garey

Robert Lee “Bob” Garey 86 of Corning passed away Thursday May 14, 2026, at Majestic Care of New Lexington.

Bob was born February 16, 1940, in Moxahala.

Bob was a former heavy equipment operator. After retiring he could often be found at John’s Place in Corning, enjoying some coffee and good conversations with his John’s Place friends.

He is survived by his mother Wilda L. Willison, his son Kevin (Sherri) Wintermute, grandchildren Brittney (Landon) Shaw and Kyle (Samantha) Wintermute; his great-grandchildren Kaden Wintermute, Charlotte Wintermute and Landry Shaw; his brothers Gary and Jerry Willison; many nieces, nephews and countless John’s Place friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barb Garey; his father Warren Willison; sisters Linda Kranyik and Bonnie Hinkle; brothers Sonny, Johnny, Paul and Jim Willison.

Per Bob’s wishes cremation will take and no service will be held at this time.
