Robert Ronald Clay Jr. (Bob), 65, of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026 at his home.
He was born August 18, 1960 in Nelsonville
Bob was a skilled hardwood floor installer who took great pride in his work. Through the years, he laid hardwood floors in countless homes, leaving behind craftsmanship that will stand for generations. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his trade.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gatha F. (Morrison) Thompson, and his father, Robert Ronald Clay Sr. (Ronnie)
Bob is survived by his loving sisters, Deanna K. Flowers (Bryan) of Logan, Aleta M. Adams (Mark) of Scottsboro, Alabama, and Margurita J. Lawson of Logan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Bob will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at Lake Logan in May.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
