Richard “Dick” Hoy II, 79, of SHAWNEE, passed away at his Home on December 21, 2023.
He was born September 9, 1944, a son of the late Richard R. and Catherine M. (Worthington) Hoy.
Dick retired from General Electric of Logan, he was a United States Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion; member of the Covenant Community Church of New Lexington; the Shawnee Masonic Lodge 526 F&AM, a longtime council member for the village of Shawnee, he worked at the Perry County Veteran Administration, and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Donna (McKnight) Hoy; son, Rich (Sheri) Hoy; his grandchildren, Richia, and Richie; his great-grandchild, PJ., stepdaughters Pam (Jack) Summers, Donna (Aaron) Jackson-, Sheri (Randall) Hummel and Paula (Todd) Altier; several step- grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother Rickard “Rick” Hoy.
Honoring Dick’s wishes cremation will take place and private family services will be conducted.
