RICHARD W. DUNKLE

Born December 19, 1949 to J. Carl Dunkle and Virgie (Vannoy) Dunkle in Logan, Ohio.  Resident of Residential, Inc. New Lexington, Ohio.

Pre-deceased by Father and Mother, brothers and sister-in-laws J. Warren (Connie) Dunkle, Hubert Dunkle, Hugh S. (Tomiko) Dunkle, Robert E. Dunkle brother-in-law Robert Kreitz, paternal grandparents John F and Catherine (Carey) Dunkle  maternal grandparents Foster and Nora (Blackshire) Vannoy and longtime caregiver Rose Dodson.

Survived by sister Carlena Kreitz of Logan; several nieces and nephews and his loving caregivers, Linda Stonebrook; Richard and Linda started their 35 plus year journey together at Residential, Bonnie Porter; Bonnie and Richard had a special connection ,  and more recently Johanna Taylor, Shane Porter and the wonderful caring staff of Residential, Inc. Friends may call from 12 P.M. until 1P.M. on Wednesday December 28, 2022, with services following with the Rev. Emory Clark.

Interred at New Straitsville Joint Cemetery.

 

 

 

I MADE IT HOME
I just wanted to let you know I made it home.
Everything is so pretty here, so fresh, so new.
I wish that you could close your eyes so you could see it too.
Please try not to be sad for me. Try to understand.
God is taking care of me… I’m in the shelter of His hands.
Here there is no sadness, and no sorrow, and no pain.
Here there is no crying, and I’ll never hurt again.
Here it is so peaceful, when all the angels sing.
I really have to go now… I’ve just got to try my wings.
