Obituary

Ray Dean Guisinger 52 of Logan, formerly of New Straitsville passed to his heavenly home on December 10, 2020 at the OSU James Hospital.

He was born October 17, 1968 in Logan, a son of Mabel Spencer Guisinger Wollett and the late Joseph Guisinger.

Dean liked to fish and hunt; he enjoyed working on derby cars for the county fairs demolition derbies with Steve Shrader and spending time with his best friend Tim Morgan, working on cars and trucks and taking breaks to fish in Tim’s farm pond.

Besides his mother Dean is survived by his son Jacob (Stacey Hanning) Guisinger of New Straitsville; his brothers Buck (Dovie) Guisinger of Dixon, Missouri and Denver Guisinger of Dixon, Missouri; his sister Cathy (Steve) Priest of Granville, Ohio; step-sisters Shawnna (Tom) Steele of Gardner, Kansas and Kristy Appleman of McArthur, Ohio; step-brother John Wollett of The Plains, Ohio; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday December 17, 2020 at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Shawnee with Pastor Jim Walz officiating.

Interment: New Straitsville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday December 16, 2020 at the funeral home.
