Randy A Kranyik

Randy A Kranyik, 66 of Corning passed away on Saturday October 16, 2021, at O’Bleness Hospital in Athens

Randy was born on March 23, 1955, in Columbus Ohio, a son of the late Rodney A and Helen M (Dunwoody) Kranyik.

Randy was a creative thinker with a unique building style, who would build his kids the coolest bikes, toys and trains.  He lived life to the fullest and was unapologetic.  He was the center of any crowd, absolutely loved his family and friends, and had the orneriest humor that would make even the stoic laugh. If you couldn’t find him at home, he would be fishing or camping. He was a man of many talents and will be missed dearly by his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Surviving by his wife Brenda (Alfman) Kranyik, children; Heather Grandon, Hilary (Dennis) Keller, Carrie (Rusty) Pride and Randy Kranyik, sisters Mary Fisher, and Helen Irene (Gary) Willison, grandchildren; Austin, Andrew, Abigail, Amarie, Amelia, Collin, Chloe, Connor, Chase, and Abigail Paige; great-granddaughter Rosalee, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by sons Jason Michael and Joseph Allen Kranyik, brothers Ronald, Donald and John Paul Kranyik.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday October 19, 2021, at THE J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME 118 W. Walnut St. SHAWNEE.

 Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday October 20, 2021, at the funeral home, with Pete Hawkins officiating, interment Oakwood Cemetery, Millertown. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
