Perl J "Perk" Spencer Jr.

Perl J. “Perk” Spencer JR 71 of New Lexington passed away at his home on Sunday November 8, 2020.

He was born March 22, 1949 in Glouster, a son of the late Perl and Stella Rebecca Simpson Spencer.

He retired from Lempco Industries of New Lexington; was a member of Loser Racing and loved fishing and camping.

He is survived by his children Kim (Brian) Givens of Junction City, Kenny (Valerie) Spencer of New Lexington and Cory (Allison) Spencer of New Lexington; his ex-wife of the home Rebecca Spencer; brother Mike (Joyce) Spencer of Shawnee; sisters Sue (Mel) Leckrone of Hemlock, Serena (Denny) Leckrone of Shawnee and Pam Spencer of Alexandria, Oh; 9 grandchildren who adored him very much, Dena, Brittany, Brett, Bethany, Caleb, Kendra and 3 of whom lived in the home Ali, Lexi and Ryott Spencer; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Barbara Lou Spencer.

Friends may call from 2-5 pm on Wednesday November 11, 2020 at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, with funeral services being conducted at 5:00 pm.

Following services cremation will take place.
