Pauline Canter

Pauline Canter, 94, who was a lifelong resident of Shawnee, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 27,2022 at the Pickering House in Lancaster.

Pauline was born December 14, 1927, in Shawnee a daughter of the late Otto and Esther Harigle.

She was a graduate of Shawnee High School and a longtime member of the Shawnee Church of Christ. Pauline is survived by her son Marc Canter and daughter Sherry Stanley; two grandsons Mark (Becky) Canter and Matt Canter; and two great-grandchildren Hannah Canter and Gaige Canter. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl D. Canter; son-in-law Mark Stanley; and her sister and brother-in-law Grace and Woodrow Thomas.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME, 118 W. WALNUT STREET, SHAWNEE, OH

 Interment: Shawnee Cemetery.

Friends may call 4:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the funeral home.
