Paul Eugene "Skip" Nesselrotte

Paul Eugene “Skip” Nesselrotte 68 of Shawnee passed away Saturday November 28, 2020 at his home.

He was born August 10, 1952 in Parkersburg, West Virginia a son of the late Floyd and Beulah Carpenter Nesselrotte.

He was a U.S. Navy Viet-Nam veteran, having last served on the U.S.S. Portland; He retired from Diamond Power of Lancaster after 41 years; he enjoyed working in the garage on Toyotas and he had a fierce love for his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by his loving partner, who brought him so much joy Renata Christman of the home; his children Dustin (Becca) Nesselrotte of Danville, KY, Jason Nesselrotte of New Straitsville, Amber (Torry) Ricketts of Somerset and Bethany (Chris) Rodriguez of Chesney, SC; his sisters Lou (Harold) Edwards of Winfield W.Va. and  Kathy White of Vienna W.Va.; grandchildren Micah Sullivan, Stacy Jo Gadd, Emily Nesselrotte, Baily Nesselrotte, Jayden Edwards, Alyssa Edwards and Presley Ricketts; Stephen and Aryana Sturgeon of the home, who Skip was helping to raise.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Don Nesselrotte; his aunts Shirley Green and Grace Rowland.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday December 2, 2020 at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Shawnee.

Interment: Shawnee Cemetery, where military graveside honors will be conducted.
