Mike Roberts

Mike Roberts 81 of Shawnee passed away on April 2 2026  in Lancaster Ohio at the Pickering House of Fairhope Hospice.

Mike was born on January 4, 1945, in New Lexington, a son of the late John A Roberts and Wanda (Breeze) Roberts- Sanborn

He was a longtime member of the Shawnee Walnut Street Church of CHRIST, where Mike SERVED the Church in many roles. Mike SERVED the Southern Local School district for over 30 plus years, Mike SERVED his community of Shawnee as a council member for many years, Mike SERVED in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  

To Mike and Linda family is everything, they traveled countless miles to Basketball Courts, Volleyball Courts, Football Fields, and Baseball Diamonds, to support and cheer for their girls and grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

 Mike served GOD, his family, his community and his Country.   

Mike is survived by his wife of 60 years Linda (Cox) Roberts, daughters, Jennifer (Jeff) Davis and Amy (Bob) Starlin, grandchildren, Destiny (Larry) Wilson, Hunter (Whitney) Starlin, Dakota Sinift, Madison (Mickey) Losey, Aron (Rhiannon) Davis, and Carson (Lacey) Starlin; Great- grandchildren, Luke, Walker, Kali, Charlee, Korra, Strider, Lincoln, and Paisleigh;

Brother Lynn (Charlotte) Roberts: sister Gale (Jerry), Tucker; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Sinift, granddaughter, Hannah Davis, brothers, John Roberts, and Stuart Roberts, stepfather, Wilbur” Peck” Sanborn.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 on Monday April 6, 2026, at THE J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME 118 West Walnut Street, SHAWNEE Ohio 43782. The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday April 7, 2026, at the Funeral Home, with JD Smith Officiating.
