Michael Eugene Castle

Michael Eugene Castle 72 of Corning passed away Tuesday June 23, 2026 at his home.

He was born February 1, 1954, in Columbus, a son of the late Clarence and Rosie Waugh Castle.

Michael retired from Twiss/ Depuy Paving of Columbus, after 30 plus years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the great outdoors. His favorite activity was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his children Mike Castle Jr., Dedra Nightingale, Bill Castle, Bob Castle and Michelle Perez; his siblings Randy Castle, Steve Castle, Brenda Noggle and Rosemary Eastham; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents his was preceded in death by his siblings Pete Castle, Bill Castle, Gary Castle and Sandy Hunter.

Per Michael’s wishes cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
