Melvin McKee Obituary
Melvin H. “Pete” McKee Jr. 69 of Corning passed away Saturday June 20, 2026 at the Genesis Medical Center, Zanesville.
He was born October 8, 1956 in Hemlock, a son of the late Melvin H. and Wanda Faye Rutter McKee Sr.
He is survived by his sister Rosemary Benhart; dear friend April Williams, brother-in -law Chuck Danner; several nieces nephews and friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Jim Martin III., Dan Martin, Randy McKee and Steven McKee; his sister Sandra Hooper; his nephew Timmy Fulk.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday June 30, 2026 at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Shawnee, with Pastor Richard Fitch officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Corning.
Friends may call from 5-7 pm on Monday June 29, 2026 at the funeral home.
