Obituary
Melissa Ann (Vorhees)Snyder 58 of Glouster formerly of Logan passed away at O’bleness Hospital Athens on Monday June 12, 2023.
Melissa was born on May 2nd, 1965, in Logan, the daughter of the late Darrell and Lois (Thompson) Vorhees.
Melissa was a home body, who loved her grandchildren, animals, the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and listening to her daughter Amber sing.
She is survived by her fiancé Michael Holbrook daughter Amber (Michael) Ferrell, son Joshua Snyder, stepson Joshua (Sarah) Holbrook grandchildren. Keith Snyder, Jason Ferrell,and Wyatt Hoops, step-grandchildren Joseph, and Josie Holbrook. And several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by husband Terry Snyder, brothers Terry Vorhees, Allen Vorhees, and Keith Vorhees, and one niece and one nephew.
Funeral service will be conducted on at 1P.M. on Sunday June 18, 2023 AT THE J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME 118 W.Walnut St. SHAWNEE Ohio, with Richard Fitch Officiating. Friends may call from 12 noon until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
