Mary Louise (Thomas) Renick

Mary Louise Renick 82 of New Lexington passed away Monday December 22, 2025 at her daughter's home, surrounded by her family.

She was born June 26, 1943 in Zanesville a daughter of the late Harold and Edna Johnson Thomas.

Mary loved her family and enjoyed taking photographs, especially of her family; she enjoyed playing games and her favorite was Skip-Bo; she cherished her time talking with family and friends; she was always willing to give of her time to others and anyone that had the pleasure of meeting Mary always loved her.

She is survived by her husband of over sixty years James William Renick Sr.; her son James William (Kathie) Renick Jr.; her daughters Salena Kay (Bruce) Bailey and Shelly Lee (Joe) Doss; her grandson that she raised Jason Wayne Renick and 9 other grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; her sisters Pam Rhinehart and Marlene Chew; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Beulah Adkins.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday December 24, 2025 at the Shawnee Cemetery with Rev Joe Doss officiating.
