Mary Ellen (Duffy) Almashy

Mary Ellen Duffy Almashy 86 of Congo passed away Monday May 31, 2021, at the Genesis Perry County Medical Center, Somerset.

 She was born July 17, 1934, in McKees Rocks Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Donald and Eleanor Ross Duffy Sr.

 She was a member of St Bernard’ Catholic Church of Corning

 She is survived by her daughter and son in law Missey and Kevin Wilson; granddaughter and husband Kendra and Bub Wilson; grandson and wife Michael and Jaycie Wilson; great-grandchildren Bentley, Brair and Bexley; sisters Eleanore (Richard)Russell, Patty (Kenny)Spencer, and Cindy (Gary) Hines, brother-in-law Terry Snider; sister-in-law Patty Jo Duffy,

 Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Almashy; her sons Mike Almashy and infant John Almashy Jr. sister Mary Rita Snider, brothers Donald Duffy Jr. John" Big Foot" Duffy, and Ralph “Red” Duffy.

 Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday June 4, 2021, at St Bernard Catholic Church, Corning with Father Todd Lehigh celebrant.

 Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Corning.

 Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Thursday June 3 at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home 118 W. Walnut St. Shawnee. With prayer services being conducted at 7:30 pm.
