Marie Ellen (Wilson) Reed Winship

Marie Ellen Wilson Reed Winship 79 of New Lexington passed away Tuesday February 14, 2023, at the New Lexington Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born March 2, 1943, in Bristol, a daughter of the late Michael Wilson and Thelma Scott Wilson Reed.

She was a retired employee of ITT Higbie of New Lexington.

She is survived by her husband Michael Winship of Florida; her sons Fred (Denise) Reed and Jason (Jenn) Reed; her grandchildren Brandon (Sami) Reed and Janessa Reed; her siblings Jimmy Wilson, Marjorie Wilson Deavers, Kathy Reed Gall and George Reed; stepsisters Ruth Reed Starner, and Rita Reed Deavers; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her infant sisters Carolyn and Marilyn Wilson; her sister Beatrice Wilson Kaufman; stepsister Pauline Reed Ratliff and Patty Reed Webb; her brothers Michael Wilson and Clyde Wilson.

Marie wishes were to donate her body to The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

No services will be conducted at this time.

Her ashes will be interned at her father’s Michael Wilson resting place in Shawnee Cemetery at later date.
