Lisa Wilson, age 62, of Gratiot, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Lisa was born at Good Samaritan Hospital on December 30, 1963, in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of John P. Fitch and Kay A. (Quinn) Fitch. She lived a life defined by kindness, dedication, love, and a deep Christian faith. Lisa was known for her willingness to help anyone in need and for the quiet strength she carried throughout her life, always trusting in the Lord.
She was a 1982 graduate of Morgan High School. Lisa worked for many years in healthcare and manufacturing, always taking pride in her work and in the care she showed to others. In her free time, she found joy in gardening, flowers, crafting, and reading, surrounded by her many beloved books. Lisa also deeply cherished her many nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Don R. Wilson; her son, Dustin P. Wilson; and her three sisters, Andrea (Jeff) Harmon, Sheree (Steve) Dailey, and Wendi (Jeff) Michaels. She was preceded in death by her parents, John P. Fitch and Kay A. (Quinn) Fitch.
Services will be announced at a later date.
Lisa will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her, as she now rests in the peace and promise of eternal life.
