Lea Kay Six

Lea Kay Six, 36, of New Straitsville passed away May 15, 2024, at O’Bleness Hospital in Athens.

 She was born July 22, 1987. Lea was a daughter of Linda Canter Queen and the late Lee Roy Six.

 She worked as an in-home health care provider. Lea was a creative person who enjoyed drawing and writing poems. She loved all types of country music.                    

 Besides her mother, Lea is survived by her twin sister Leslie (Andrew) Bressi; brothers Cory Six, Dillon (Chelsea Schlaegel) Queen, and Dustin Queen; her grandfather Bill Canter; stepmother Lucy Six; nieces and nephews Isaac Craig, Kaesilyn Queen, Ayla Queen, Kinsley Bressi, Kaylee Bressi, Maylee Queen, and Coltin McCormick, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

  Besides her father she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Barb and Leroy “Buck” Six; maternal grandmother Vera Canter; uncles Jeff Canter and Lynn Canter; and stepdad Junior Queen.

 Friends may call 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, May 17 at the JE HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME, SHAWNEE, OHIO. The funeral service will be held immediately after visitation at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Eric Bressi will officiate the service.

Cremation will occur following the service.
