Larry Joe Woods

Larry Joe Woods, 82, of Corning passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio.

He was born January 8,1943 in Corning. Joe was a son of the late Jack and Margaret (Dunlap) Woods.Joe was a retired employee of AMG Vanadium in Cambridge as well as a petty officer in the

United States Navy, having served in the Vietnam War. He was a proud member of the Malta VFW and a graduate of Oberlin College. Joe enjoyed hunting and fishing and was "THE BEST GRANDPA EVER" and he loved that role!

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rhonda (Latham) Woods; three sons Robert (Sandee)

Woods, Josh (Laci) Woods, and Chad (Jamie) Woods; grandchildren Cameron Woods, Austyn

Woods, Tenessa Woods (Korey Moore), Tyler Woods, Trinity Woods (Logan Hursey), Rylee

Woods, Landen Woods (Lillie Rosser), Caiden Russell, Ethan Woods, Chloe Woods, and Kenzlee Woods, brothers Jim Woods, Jeff Woods, and Randy Woods; sister, Tiffany Marks Besides his parents Joe was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Bohannon, Kathy Tanner, and Marjo Woods.

Graveside Services will be held at 130 p.m. on Wednesday September 10, 2025 at the Millertown Cemetery.
