Kristina A Owen

Kristina A (Hammond) Owen, 46 of New Lexington, passed away to be with GOD, on Wednesday December 24, 2025, at The Morrison House- Gensis Hospice.

Kristina was born on May 25, 1979, in Zanesville, the daughter of Teresa (Leslie) Kirkpatrick and the late Gerald F. Hammond.

She was 1997 Graduate of New Lexington High School, a former employee of ITT Higbie Manufacturing, Fairfield Medical and Most recently at Genesis Medical Center Zanesville.

Surviving is her Husband of 23 years Kevin Owen, mother and step- father, Teresa (Albright) and Leslie Kirkpatrick, brothers Gary (Keri) Hammond, and Jason Hammond, mother and father in law, Lisa and Darren Fowler, brothers and sisters in laws Dana and Lacy Owen and Amanda Abernathy and Eddie King, and Dylan Owen, Uncle and Aunt Jim and Elaine Albright, nieces and nephews, Braiden Hammond, Katilen( Cody Nelson) Hammond: ,Bryan, Tyler, Rylie, Savannah, Dakata and great niece Khloe. Besides her father Kristina was preceded in death by her Maternal grandparents, Dale and Catherine (Rehart) Albright, and Paternal grandparents, Edward and Evelyn (Smith) Hammond.

Kristina enjoyed long walks, going places with her brother and she always had a smile on her face when he would come to visit, she enjoyed her outings with her friends, Brandie, Felicia and Kelly. Kristina loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was much Loved and will be greatly missed.

Kristina is the love of Kevin's life, they loved going to Ohio State and Cleveland Browns Football games, going to Cincinnati to see the Reds, long drive in the country during the fall and staying in cabins in the spring, she was one of a kind and will be missed every single day.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday December 30, 2025, at 11 A.M. at the funeral home, with Pastor Doug Gill officiating.
