Joshua Michael David Thompson, 25, of New Lexington passed away at his home on Monday, Sept. 4, 2023. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio to parents Theresa (Hammond)(John Sowers) Thompson and Scott Thompson. Joshua was an employee of Frank Kinney Renovation. He enjoyed motorcycles and basketball. Besides his parents he is survived by grandparents Walter and Patty Thompson Sr. and Gary and Sandy Bennett; girlfriend Mikayla Kelly; brothers and sisters Jay Reynolds, Tyler Murray, Davey Barrett, Critter, Mikey Lewellen,Jonathan Munyan, Dayton DunwoodySteven keira, steven, emmit willow Hammond

 Freddie Kinney, Jacob Kelly, Brittany Dusenberry, and Lyssa Jade; aunts and uncles Walter (Michelle) Thompson Jr., Tricia (Sherry) Hermey, Rebecca(Aaron) Rodney (Chris) Bennett, Tammy Bennett, Teri (Russ) Creeks, and Brian Hermey; cousins Brodee Creeks,Bethany, Taylor,Leah-Mercy Pettit,Isaiah, Bobbie,Silas Rowe. Ashley, Amber, Brent, Mya, Ian, Lachrista, Rodney Jr., Jackie, Nathan, Mackenzie, Jacob, Ayrie, Annalee, Bailee, Tanner, and Racee; and a friend who was more like a father, Denny Dew; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Joshua is preceded in death by his brother John Walter Lee Thompson; brother Tristan Tufts; cousin Jacob Bennett; and Grandfather John Hammond.

 Visitation will be from 4-8 on Thursday September 7,2023 at the J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME, 118 W. Walnut Street, SHAWNEE, Ohio 43782

Funeral services will be held at 8 P.M. following visitation With Dan Keffer officiating
