Jonathan T Wilson

Jonathan T Wilson, 35 of New Straitsville, passed away on Thursday June 30, 2022, at the Fairfield Medical Center in   Lancaster Ohio.

Jon was born on August 9, 1986, in Zanesville Ohio, a son of Kathy (McFann) Nye and Jeff Wilson.

 Jon had a passion for music, his family, his wife, and his boys.  He had music in his blood and rhythm in his soul. He was a drummer in various bands, Black Dragon the one being closest to his heart; if you couldn’t have guessed Jon’s favorite muppet was Animal.

Besides his parents Jon is survived by his high school sweetheart who became his wife; Lorin (Dunwoody) Wilson, his boys Connor and Caleb Wilson; stepfather Larry Nye and stepmother, Ida Wilson; Siblings Curt (Amanda) Wilson, Nicholas (Cecily) Nye and Larryn (Carson) Shaben.  Niece; Charlotte Wilson, and Nephew, Daceon Nye. Paternal grandfather. Tom (Sharon) Wilson and Paternal grandmother Sherry (Larry) Pratt, his honorary Brothers, and bandmates, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Chuck and Louise McFann, uncle Carl McFann, and his aunt Vickie Lanning.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday July 5, 2022, at THE J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME 118 W. Walnut St, SHAWNEE Ohio, Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2022, at the New Straitsville United Methodist, with the William Wayt officiating. Interment New Straitsville Cemetery.
