• Jason William Romine, 40 of New Straitsville passed away Sunday January 15, 2023, in Columbus.

    He was born February 25, 1982, in Zanesville, the son of Regina Nichols Romine and the late Harold William Romine.

    Jason was a big Pittsburg Steelers and Chicago Bulls fan; he was a very friendly and outgoing person and was very family oriented.

    Besides his mother he is survived by his children Jasonna, Brooklynn, Jarell and Bronxx Romine; his step daughter Zhia’lyhia Tillman; step-grandson Zyaire Tillman; uncle Marvin (Renee) Nichols; aunt Debbie Plantz; special cousins Tony Nichols, Michael Nichols and Amanda Gill-Mayle; his Godfather Shaun Hinton; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

    Besides his father he was preceded in death by his grandma Emmaline Norris-Mayle.

    Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday January 23, 2023, at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Shawnee with Ruben Wallace officiating.

    Interment: Mount Hermon Cemetery, Amesville.
