Jason M. “Bones” Craig 50, of SHAWNEE, passed away on December 23, 2023, surrounded by his love ones at the Fairfield Medical Center Lancaster.
Jason was born on February 13, 1973, in Zanesville Ohio, the son of Walter and Doris (Starlin) Craig.
He was an employee of Carl Hook Concrete, a fisherman, and mushroom hunter, a loyal and true friend, he was known to tip a Budweiser or two, loved the music of the 70’s and 80’s but especially Fleetwood Mac.
Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Kim (Kris Hook) Fuchs, nephew, Jim (Courtney) Fuchs, and niece, Savannah (Brian) Yoho, great -nieces, Addison, Eve, and Reese Yoho, and (yet to arrive) Emery Fuchs. Even though Jason didn’t have children of his own, he looked at his nephew and nieces as if they were his kids. Several aunts and uncles, including special uncle John (Penny Simpson) Starlin, and last but not least his dog Tom, who he loved very much.
Friend may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday December 28, 2023, at the J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME, 118 West Walnut St. SHAWNEE, where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. With Pastor Richard Fitch officiating.
Following services cremation will take place.
