James E, "Jim" Snyder

James “Jim” E. Snyder, 61, of Pleasantville (formerly of New Straitsville) passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio. Jim was born July 11, 1960. He was a son of the late Don and Bobbie Snyder. He was a United States Army veteran and a self-employed carpenter who enjoyed farming and working on cars. Jim is survived by his children Eric (Angela Ferrell) Snyder, Stephanie (Adam Alfman Sr.) Snyder, and Melissa Snyder; his fiancee Becky Roberts; grandchildren Emily Snyder and Adam Alfman Jr.; siblings Mark (Betty) Snyder, Rick (Becky) Snyder, Becky (Brian) Meyers, and Kelly (Tim) Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Daniel “Danny” Snyder. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 11th from 2:00-4:00 PM at the J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME, 118 W. Walnut Street, SHAWNEE, Ohio 43782. Funeral services will be held   immediately follow visitation.. Military honors will follow at the funeral home.
