James Anthony (Tony) Burch, 74, of Haydenville, passed away on Sunday, July 16 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Tony was born Oct. 16, 1948, in Logan, Ohio. He was a son of the late Luther and Eileen (Green) Burch. Tony was a United States Navy Vietnam War veteran. He retired from Selkirk Metalbestos after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Logan Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2168 and the Logan American Legion Post 78. Tony enjoyed fishing and was a huge Nascar fan. He is survived by his children Brandy (Kelly) Spicer and Brian (Casey Holley) Burch; brother Mike (Brenda) Burch; sisters Rose (Rusty) Brooks, Diane Nutter, and Karen (Larry) Nichols; grandchildren Tyler (Elizabeth) Rine, Nicholaus Rine, Chloe (Matthew) Carney, Paisley Spicer, Dean Burch, Sam Burch, Lyndon Burch, Maggie Casto, and Molly Burch; and great-granddaughters Sylvia Carney and Evelyn Rine. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Connie Burch, son Shawn Burch, and granddaughter Melanie Jo Burch. Friends may call from 12:00- 7:00 PM on Friday, July 21 at the JE HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME, 118 W. WALNUT STREET, SHAWNEE, OHIO 43782. A Fraternal Order of Eagles service will be held at 6:30 PM. Military honors will follow at 7:00 PM
