Jacob Scott Ramsey

Jacob Scott Ramsey 22 of The Plains, passed away at his home on Sunday April 26, 2026.

He was born September 4, 2003, in Zanesville, a son of Melissa (Robert Strohl) Ramsey and the late Karl David Ramsey.

Jacob attended Alexander High School and graduated with honors from Tri-County Vocational School, he was a crew member at The Plains McDonalds Restaurant, he attended the Celebration Center in Belpre; he was a big guy with an even bigger heart and always tried to help the homeless and others in need; he enjoyed fishing, working in the yard and he was a gamer and especially liked Minecraft.

Besides his mother he is survived by his sister Julie (Christian) Hillis, his brother Bret (Skylar Nichols) Thompson, his paternal grandparents David and Gloria Ramsey; his nephew and little buddy David Hillis; his great-uncle David Doyle and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Besides his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Marvin and Theresa McCoy.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday May 2, 2026, at the Beech Grove Cemetery Monroe Township Road 281
