Gloria J (Kennedy) Wells

Gloria J. Wells 71 of New Lexington passed away Monday July 25, 2022, at the Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.

She was born June 29, 1951, in Columbus a daughter of the late Frank Edward and Thelma Glory Lovingshimer Kennedy.

She is survived by her daughters Thelma Jean Wells-Doss and Tracey S.M. Wells-Miller (Stephen Short); her sisters Joyce McDonald and Maria Bowshier; grandchildren Angela Marie (O.J.) Bolin, Britney Miller, Amber Nicole Doss, Ashley Lynn (Nick Neff) Doss and Kyle Mathew (Kylie) Miller; great-grandchildren Ian, Riley, Luna, Keaton, Jaxon, Kenzlee, Ashton, Orrin, and Mia; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Lee Wells, her brother Frank Kennedy Jr.; her sisters Judy Long, Carol Nettler and Wanda Woodworth; her brother in laws John McDonald and Gary Bowshier.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8 pm on Thursday July 28, 2022, at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Shawnee, with the family officiating.

Friends may call Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday July 29, 2022, at the Groveport Cemetery, Groveport, Ohio
