Genevieve “Ginger” Hamilton,71, of New Lexington, Ohio, passed away August 17, at the Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born February 27, 1951, in Morgan County, Ohio, to the late Robert and Alice (Brawley) Thompson. She is survived by her three children, Debbie (Christopher Barnhart) Williams, Dannie (Kelly) Williams II, and Ginger (Patrick) White, brother Walter (Patty)Thompson, Sisters: Wanda Wilson and Mable Whitmore.
Grandchildren: Steven Williams (Skye Masterson), Britni (Thomas) Weaver, Jennifer Williams, Sierra Hartman (James McCune), Stephanie (Bryan) Webb, Summer Hartman, and Chad Bender.
Great Grandchildren: Emma, Morgan, Garrett, Wyatt, Raina, Rayne, and Charlotte “Charlie”.
She was preceded in death by a son, George Clark, Brothers: Freddie, Harold, Jim, Bob, and Frank Thompson. Sisters: Bonnie Canter, Mary George, and Florence Braglin.
She was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber and New Lexington Eagles 2070; she was the current Secretary of the Perry County Senior Center Board.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and Ohio State Football.
Friends may call from 2-6 pm on Monday August 22, 2022, at the J. E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Shawnee.
Funeral services will be conducted at 6 pm with Rev Richard Fitch officiating.
