Garry Lee Yocum

Garry Lee Yocum 70 0f Gettysburg Pennsylvania, formerly of Shawnee passed away March 25, 2026 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

He was born June 18, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Floyd and Violet Glanemann Yocum.

He loved fishing, golf, NASCAR and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

He is survived by his daughter Stephanie (Jeremy) Barney of Columbus, Ohio; his brother Floyd E. “Gene” (Patricia) Yocum of Somerset, Ohio; grandchildren Ashtyn Barney, Elizabeth Matteson, Christopher Matteson and Kadence Matteson.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Mary Yocum; his sister Cathy and his grandson Tristan Steele.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1-3 pm on June 20, 2026 at the Perry County Senior Center 520 1st Street, New Lexington, Ohio
