Garnet Glenna Chevalier Blosser 90 of New Lexington passed away Wednesday April 12, 2023, at Altercare Somerset.
She was born September 30, 1932, in Pike Township, the daughter of the late Marvin Glenn and Effie Lorena Kinney Chevalier.
She was a dedicated mother to her family and had a heart of gold for little kids; she loved her cats, hunting for mushrooms and she was Jehovah witness by faith.
She is survived by her daughters Joyce (Bill) Canter, Sharon (Ed) Jones, and Brenda Delong; her sons Bruce, Wayne, Rodney (Ling), Steven (Debbie) Randy (Kim Erwin), Marvin and Jeremy Blosser; many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John William “Bill” Blosser; her son Brian Todd Blosser; her sisters Norma Hoops, Flossie Huston, Eileen Pierce; her brothers Orland Chevalier and Melvin Chevalier; her granddaughter Lilly Blosser; daughter in law Yong’ Cha Blosser and her son in law Anthony Delong.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. on Monday April 17, 2023, at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Shawnee.
Interment: Maplewood Cemetery, New Lexington
Following the services friends and family are invited to the New Lexington Baptist Church 890 S. Main New Lexington to share in food and fellowship.
