Frank Joseph 73 of New Straitsville passed away at his home on Saturday August 7, 2021.
He was born October 4, 1947, in Shawnee, a son of the late Frank and Hester Johnson Joseh.
Frank was a gas, oil and water well driller and retired from Metelbestos of Logan. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, especially in Michigan, ginseng hunting, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and ice fishing, and anything else that got him outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Joan Wallace Joseph; daughter Angie (Rich) West son Mike (Denette Layne) Joseph; stepson Chad (Jamie) Geil and stepdaughter Michele (Jerry) Hughes; sister Lucy (Barney) Phalen; brothers Jack (Karen) Joseph, Danny (Sandy) Joseph; step brother Dave (Donna) Harper; sister-in-law Betty Forester; grandchildren Michael and Brandon Joseph; Caleb, Hannah, Hallie and Heather West; Joshua (Mariah) Hughes and Jacob (Brook) Hughes; Cole (Hanna) Geil; great grandchildren Dawson and Coleson Hughes; special friends Nancy Dawley and Bernard Stickdorn; special k-9 friends Peanut and Isabella; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his infant son Frank Joseph Jr.; stepfather John Harper; his first wife Sharon Shoults Joseph.
Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Tuesday August 10, 2021, at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Shawnee.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday August 11, 2021 at the funeral home.
Following services cremation will take place.
