Ernest Lee Pettet

Ernest Lee Pettet, 78 of Shawnee, passed away Sunday November 10, 2024, at the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville.

He was born July 3,1946 in Saltlick Township a son of the late Samual and Ocea Maude McGill Pettet.

He retired as a machinist from Lempco Industries Inc. in New Lexington; he was a member of the United States Steel Workers and attended Chauncey Faith Chapel.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Shirley Ware Pettet; his sons Rick Pettet, Donald (Sheila Speakman) Pettet and Randy (Nancy) Pettet; 5 grandchildren; his sisters Louella Mears and Sylvia Jividen; several nieces and nephews.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Walter, Albert, and Phillip and his sister Marie Mears.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday November 15, 2024, at the New Lexington Community Holiness Church 120 Thorn St. New Lexington, OH 43764

Following services cremation will take place.

Friends may call from 1-2 pm on Friday at the church
