Donald Edward Blanton

Donald Edward “Cowboy” Blanton 65 of New Lexington passed away at his home on Thursday December 28, 2023.

He was born May 29, 1958 in Nelsonville, the son of the late James E. and Ruby Eilene Nixon Blanton.

He loved music, especially Nickelback; he enjoyed spending time with his family; he enjoyed cooking and grilling, and he loved his Ford vehicles.

He is survived by his significant other Marilyn Ellis; his children Kenneth (Sara) Wright, Kris Wright and Keith “Jake” Wright; his sisters Lisa Lawrence and Cathy (Dave) Newlen; his nephew KJ Lawrence and his niece Carla Barber; several grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; several cousins and friends.

Per Don’s wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
