Dolores June (Dodson) Titko

Dolores J. Titko, 76, of Drakes passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, at Altercare of Thornville.

 She was born on Aug. 20, 1947, at the family home in Monroe Township. Dolores was the youngest of four children born to the late Milford J. and Delsie (Ketcham) Dodson. Dolores graduated from Miller High School. She was a former employee of Essex Wire in Zanesville. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, sitting on the front porch watching the world go by, and she had a soft spot in her heart for stray cats.

 Dolores is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Agnes and Richard Benedict; nieces and nephews Richard (Jeannette) Benedict, Teresa (Jeff) Kennebeck, Steven (Shelly) Mullins, Brian Dodson, Heather Dodson, and Dodie Dodson; aunt Naomi Helmeth; her uncle Marvin (Edith) Ketcham; special friends George and Rosie Ferguson and Ramona Delong; and several great nieces and nephews.

 Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Titko, brother Dale Dodson, and sister Mona Mullins.

 Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, at the JE HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME, 118 W. Walnut Street, SHAWNEE, Ohio 43872 with the Pastor John Johnson officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

 Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Millertown.
